Angelfish Learn to Swim

One on One Swimming Lessons

The Angelfish Learn to Swim Program is a specially designed, one on one swimming lesson for children with a range of developmental, behavioural or learning difficulties.  Children learn in many different ways. Some children need a little bit more time, attention and understanding.  Joining our Angelfish Learn to Swim Program, even for just a little while, gives your child that extra support and guidance.

Our program is overseen by an experienced ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).  Instructors teaching our Angelfish Learn to swim Program have completed a specially designed training session with our program coordinator.

The overall intention of the Angelfish Learn to Swim Program is to integrate each child back into our regular learn to swim program.  However, we will work with you to support your child's individual goals and needs.

For more information on how your child could benefit from joining our Angelfish Learm To Swim Program, call our Reception Staff on 8285 3666.

Families who are engaged with the NDIS may find that all or part of their swimming lessons may be funded.  We have found that the NDIS typically funds the difference between mainstream Learn to Swim classes and one on one classes, if these classes meet the specific needs of the child and are goal orientated.  Parafield Gardens Swim School is currently registered under the Health & WEllbeing support category.
